What can I say? Looks wonderful, goes like stink and built like an old-school Merc. The black alcantara roof-lining is an especially pleasing touch.
The only little snag so far is that one of the motors in the front passenger seat apparently gave up the ghost for about 24 hours, leaving the seat in an unusable position, although that seems to have corrected itself now. Perhaps I was just pressing the wrong buttons, although I don't think so - if there's no recurrence, I'll give the car the benefit of the doubt.

ONE OF MY BIG TIME DREAM MACHINES IS A CL IN BLACK! I ALWAYS WANTED TO DRIVE A CL63 AMG, BUT THE NEW AGRESSIVE STYLING ON YOUR CL500 IS GREAT AND FOR ONCE A NICE SET OF ALLOYS ON A MERC - AN AREA THEY HAVE ALWAYS FELL DOWN IN! IT LOOKS GREAT AND I THINK YOU WOULD BE HARD PUSH TO FIND SOMETHING BETTER IN THE MERC RANGE - I WOULD EVEN SAY THAT IT'S PRETTIER AND MORE MASCULINE THAN THE McMERC SLR!!
JUST MAKE SURE I'M ON THE VERDICT LIST WHEN YOU GET YOUR HANDS ON THE NEW M3!! I CAN'T BELIEVE I MISSED OUT ON THAT ONE!
